Fundraising

Fundraising is an important element of our Providence Nursery School cooperative.  The money raised supports extra programs like music class, replaces worn toys and equipment, and helps teachers to purchase supplies. 

You can help our fundraising efforts by attending events, and also by volunteering your time.  Special events are a great opportunity to meet and hang out with other families in our PNS community.  Most of us have chosen PNS because it is a co-op, and fundraising events are another chance to participate and help in the educational mission of our school.  If you are interested in volunteering to help with any of our fun events, please contact our Fundraising Chairs.

PNS Book Fair at Barnes and Noble

Each fall Barnes and Noble hosts Providence Nursery School for our biggest fundraising event of the school year. We have story-times, arts and crafts, and lots of other fun activities for the little ones. We receive a portion of the sales of items purchased using our special code.

Holiday Shop

Bring your little one or their bigger siblings to shop for family gifts, enjoy snacks, and make holiday crafts. We may even have photos with Santa!

Power Capes

Earn money for our school by purchasing awesome, personalized dress-up items.  Simply click on the link below (PNS only gets credit if you shop through our link), and shop a full selection of hero capes, masks, gloves, tutus, t-shirts, and belts.  They make great holiday or birthday gifts!

Support PNS by purchasing a T-shirt or another item with the PNS logo. Items are available throughout the school year.  Purchase PNS clothing to show your school spirit! Matchbox Swap

On January 17th, the Fundraising Committee will host a morning "playdate" at the preschool. Bring your old Matchbox or Hot Wheels car and swap for a "new" one.  We'll have snacks, and lots of car themed activities and crafts.

Rocknoceros Concert and Raffle

Northern Virginia's premier kiddie rock band, Rocknoceros, has performed the last several years with a raffle full of fun prizes following the concert.  This event will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall upstairs.
